Samsung Collaborates With Emerging Young Artists To Create Unique ‘Galaxy Z’ Accessories Exclusively on


New collaborations with the Korean artists Haydonna and Lee Eun have resulted in stylish cases for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced that it has unveiled two new mobile accessories for the new Galaxy Z series, which feature the vibrant artwork of promising emerging artists and are available through The collection of accessories includes one case each for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5[1], and will be released on August 11 through the Samsung e-Store in 11 countries[2] worldwide, including France, Germany, Italy, the U.K. and the U.S.

Samsung collaborated with up-and-coming Korean artists who are making a global impact — Haydonna and Lee Eun — to provide customers with a distinctive way to make a style statement with their new Galaxy Z series devices. The selected artists showcase their unique artistic perspectives and capture the positive voices of the younger generation.

Artists Bring Special Customer Experiences to

Haydonna, an artist well known for her dynamic graphics and cheerful style, participated in the design of the Galaxy Z Fold5 case, incorporating her signature ‘Fluffy Friends’ characters. Lee Eun, known for her delightful paintings using vibrant colors, collaborated with Samsung on a Galaxy Z Flip5 case that incorporates messages of encouragement for people into her designs.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip5, Lee Eun’s art of work is recreated as animated designs using near field communication (NFC) technology, providing customers with a unique and immersive experience. Once users insert ‘Flipsuit card’ with NFC technology in the case, the image of the card is implemented as an animation on the ‘Flex Window’ of the Flip5’s external screen.

Samsung’s collaborations with these three artists in the design of the Galaxy Z accessories, aligns with the emerging concept of “Wholesomeness.” Wholesomeness aims to spread positive influence through messages of positivity, kindness, empathy and inclusiveness — in contrast to negativity, criticism and confrontation.
