RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. – February 26, 2018 – Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced today it has received four awards for best in class customer care, at the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service, the world’s top honor for contact center, customer service, business development and sales professionals.

Specifically, Samsung received the following recognitions at the Stevie Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, February 23rd:

  • A gold award for IVR or Web Service Solution, which recognized Samsung’s use of an on demand, peer-to-peer platform staffed by Samsung consumers that provides support to Samsung consumers in need, quickly.
  • A gold award for Customer Service Success, which recognized the company’s online Community platform, a place for customers to discuss, share tips, and troubleshoot issues with Samsung products and services.
  • Two silver awards for Best Use of Technology in Customer Service and Innovation in Customer Service, which recognized the company’s cloud solution to improve contact center efficiency and enhance day-to-day care functions.

There were more than 2,500 nominations for the Stevie Awards from organizations of all sizes. This is Samsung Electronic America’s first year winning any Stevie Awards for best in class customer care.
