A Community Heals through Samsung Solve for Tomorrow

Brooklyn Technical High School students in Brooklyn, New York, channel their sadness – from losing three fellow students to car accidents – into developing a smartwatch app to keep pedestrians safe. Their project was selected as one of five national winners in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition where public school students across the country demonstrate how they can apply science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to help improve their community for a share of $2 million of technology for their school.
