Samsung Galaxy users can now enjoy a more seamless integration with American Airlines boarding passes in Samsung Wallet for helpful travel updates, flight boarding, luggage tracking, and more.
With boarding pass data coming directly from the airline1, you can receive live updates for your trip to your boarding pass in Samsung Wallet, including flight day and time, airport terminal and gate, flight number, and seat number. Push notifications letting you know when an update is made will also help make your travel day even smoother.
To add an American Airlines boarding pass to Samsung Wallet, simply tap ‘Add to Samsung Wallet’ while viewing the boarding pass in the American Airlines app, on your mobile device. After adding, the pass is accessible under ‘Boarding Passes’ in the Samsung Wallet app, or it’s just a swipe away in the Quick Access tab on your phone, or in the Wallet app on your watch.
Travel information from your ticket can also automatically sync with Samsung Calendar to keep you on schedule. And for devices using One UI 8.0 and later, upcoming travel and ticket information are also provided in the Now Brief2.
Travelers can also say goodbye to missing bags. After adding a boarding pass to Samsung Wallet, tap ‘Track Bags with SmartTag’3 to connect a Galaxy SmartTag4 to your pass. Syncing a connected Galaxy SmartTag to your boarding pass conveniently brings the Find my capabilities into Wallet, so your travel details are in one place and you can track luggage alongside flight details within Samsung Wallet as you travel, offering enhanced security, peace of mind, and convenience during travel.
