Samsung Electronics Unveils Cutting-edge Display Solutions at ISE 2014, Largest B2B Exhibition in Europe
Samsung Electronics will take part in the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, the largest international B2B display exhibition in Europe, set to be held for 3 days starting on February 4, 2014 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The ISE is the most popular B2B-related product exhibition and attracts more than 45,000 attendees from around the world.
Samsung Electronics will introduce display solutions optimized for varied environments, including retailers, offices, airports and hotels, at its booth to further expedite marketing activities in commercial display market.
Under the theme ‘Integrate, Interact and Inspire’, the world’s leading electronics company will visualize the future where Samsung’s cutting-edge display solutions are converging as new communication means in diversified consumer and business environments that are changing in line with technology development.
Samsung Electronics will unveil a new version of the ‘Samsung Smart Signage Platform’, a proprietary digital signage platform that provides a more efficient business environment.
The Smart Signage Platform debuted at ISE 2013 and has been upgraded and integrated into Samsung’s large format displays (LFDs) for 2014.
Now that it has an enhanced digital signage platform with the industry’s first quad-core system-on-chip (SoC), Samsung Electronics will expand its market presence.
Building a huge ‘multi-vision tower’ by combining 54 of the world’s top LFDs (UD55D) with the world’s slimmest 3.5mm ultra-slim bezel, the company will captivate the audience with a magnificent display.
In the space designed as a store environment, visitors can identify images of products displayed by a 95” LFD (ME95C) in their real size, while browsing multiple products in a virtual store window. Attendees can also experience how easy it is to update various promotional data in restaurant menu boards using Samsung Electronics’ display solutions.
In the space designed as a hotel room, the audience can experience innovative hotel solutions that provide TV content preferred by guests by making simple control.
The company will showcase its display solutions in a simulated airport where visitors can see flight schedule information, weather updates and other useful information that is updated in real time on Samsung’s LFDs. This solution provides travelers with information on flight schedule at airports updated in real time as well as time table of shuttle buses that run between airports and hotels.
In addition, Samsung Electronics will introduce a more advanced conference environment in which electronic bulletin boards can replace conventional projectors and screens. Launched in December 2013 as an educational solution, Samsung’s Magic IWB 3.0 enables more than two LFDs to operate as a single unit, and allows users to cooperate efficiently by sharing content with laptops and tablet PCs.
The company will unveil an efficient work environment where users can work and video conference simultaneously by dividing a UHD LFD screen into 4 full HD-level screens.
Samsung Electronics aims to aggressively market its ‘integrated display solutions’ in the digital signage market, which is expected to grow by over 20 percent annually through 2017.
Samsung will host a news conference for influential B2B media in Europe, where it will present Samsung’s B2B strategy while visualizing the future where display solutions progressively change lives by converging them with business environment.
Senior Vice President Jeong-hwan Kim at Visual Display Business in Samsung Electronics said, “The company will lead the global LFD market for six consecutive years by providing differentiated solutions that can meet diversified demands of business customers in 2014.”
