Canadian members of #TeamGalaxy share how they stay connected this Holiday season

It’s that time of year again! The holidays are fast approaching, and the holiday spirit is in full swing. Although we can all agree that 2020 has been a year unlike any other, the true meaning behind the season – the sense of togetherness, fun and cheer – remains as important as ever. This year, Samsung Canada has tapped a few Canadian #TeamGalaxy members to share how they’re embracing the spirit of togetherness and staying connected with loved ones.

Who is #TeamGalaxy? Local creators who champion the Galaxy ecosystem of products, leveraging exciting Samsung technology to power their personal and professional lives. From phones and tablets to mobile enhancements like smartwatches and ear buds, #TeamGalaxy knows best how easy it can be to stay together, even while apart, with a little help from Samsung.

TAHA MUHARUMA – @TAHAPHOTO

For Taha Muharuma – a photographer and creative collaborator based in Toronto – connecting through art and photography has always offered a means of inspiration and happiness. With his Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, he is able to take advantage of professional grade camera functionality on his mobile device, whenever inspiration strikes: 

“It started out as a simple daily walk to help spark movement in my body and my mind. Over the next few months, these walks became part of my mental, physical, and creative routine. Soon, I began taking my daughter along with me to experience and appreciate the beautiful ride that is life. ‘What sounds does the water make?’ … ‘Let’s jump in the colourful leaves!’ I could tell she just loved running free.

It’s been a tough year, but once again photography has helped me through it. I hope when my daughter is older we can look back and say this is how we spent 2020… grounded by nature and closer together.”

Renée Tse, a Toronto-based writer, editor, consultant and digital content creator, has also been using Samsung technology to help connect with loved ones. This holiday season, she has been appreciating the little things; everyday moments have been a little brighter, in part, thanks to Samsung technology: 

“While this holiday season may look a little different (no travelling for me), I’ve been enjoying quality time at home with my family; whether it’s sitting on our beds catching up on our favourite K-dramas and music videos on the Samsung QLED 8K TV with my Samsung  Galaxy Buds+, or huddling over our giant spread of dim sum dishes on the dining table (and with me documenting it all on the Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G).
