Samsung Canada Champions Canadian Pride with Nationwide Campaign, Advancing STEM for Youth Across Canada

In partnership with Code Ninjas Canada, Samsung Canada is providing $5 per social media post (up to $10,000) with tags @SamsungCanada and #ProudCanadian to fund STEM camps and classes at ten Code Ninjas locations for youth across Canada.

 

Samsung Electronics Canada and Code Ninjas Canada invite Canadians from coast to coast to share the moments and stories that make them proud to call Canada home. With more than 30 years in the country, Samsung has been part of Canadians’ journeys—supporting communities, advancing innovation, and helping people stay connected.

 

The campaign celebrates community, creativity, and Canadian identity, turning every social media post into an opportunity to fund STEM programming for students across the country. From start of the campaign until Canada Day 2025, post an Instagram video showcasing what makes you proud to be a Canadian tagging @SamsungCanada and #ProudCanadian. Samsung Canada will provide $5 for each video posted, up to a total of CAD 10,000.00, to Code Ninjas Canada. The campaign unfolds in three phases designed to maximize engagement, storytelling and impact:

 

Phase One: Inspire – Setting the Stage and Sharing Samsung Canada’s Story

In the weeks leading up to launch, Samsung Canada built momentum across its owned social platforms and Samsung Members community with a series of videos and storytelling content highlighting Samsung’s footprint in Canada, as well as what it means to be ‘Canadian’. From long winters to local traditions, this pre-launch phase set the foundation for a shared celebration of Canada pride​ – we are resilient, creative, and connected.

 

Phase Two: Launch and Activate – National Campaign

Canadians are invited to share memes, skits, and heartfelt moments that capture everyday Canadian culture. Whether it’s a favourite food spot, a hockey-themed skit, or a uniquely Canadian saying, every post on Instagram using #ProudCanadian and tagging @SamsungCanada helps fund STEM camps and classes for youth across Canada.

 

Phase Three: Celebrate – Canada Day and Beyond

To sustain momentum, Samsung Canada and Code Ninjas are extending the campaign through STEM camps and on Canada Day. The initiative will spotlight community contributions and encourage students and families to participate in coding camps, classes and content creation. Select posts will continue to be amplified, turning Canadian pride into support for causes that matter—from STEM education to youth empowerment​.

 

This campaign is part of Samsung Canada’s broader mission to spread fandom through community engagement, supporting young innovators and creators across the country. Samsung is proud to help shape a better tomorrow for all Canadians.
