Samsung Canada named 2024 Appliance Manufacturer of the Year by ENERGY STAR® Canada

Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. is proud to announce it has been named the 2024 Appliance Manufacturer of the Year by ENERGY STAR Canada, a program of Natural Resources Canada. The award marks the fifth win for Samsung Canada in this category with previous wins as the Appliance Manufacturer of the Year in 2017, 2018 and 2019, in addition to winning the ENERGY STAR Canada Award for Sustained Excellence in 2020. This prestigious recognition underscores Samsung’s unwavering commitment to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.

This year, Samsung introduced 23 new ENERGY STAR certified product models. Samsung’s ENERGY STAR certified product portfolio now includes 100% of its dishwashers, refrigerators, and front-load washers, plus Bespoke models of the same product categories, demonstrating the company’s dedication to sustainability. In 2023, Samsung introduced 51 new ENERGY STAR certified product models, further solidifying its leadership in energy-efficient appliance manufacturing.
