Samsung returns as matching gift partner for SickKids Foundation holiday fundraising campaign featuring Ryan Reynolds

For the second consecutive year, Samsung is teaming up with SickKids Foundation, Ryan Reynolds and a variety of notable Canadians and influencers, to raise money for the hospital’s holiday fundraising campaign

As a proud, long-time partner of SickKids, Samsung Canada is back as matching gift partner for SickKids Foundation annual holiday fundraising campaign.

Fast becoming an annual Canadian tradition, Ryan Reynolds is showcasing his festive holiday sweater to help raise money for SickKids, and he’s enlisting the support of celebrity friends like Auston Matthews to help spread the word. Samsung will be matching individual donations to the campaign from today until December 24, up to a maximum of $100,000.

The “Help Samsung Help SickKids” campaign will also see Samsung donating $1, up to a maximum of $25,000, for every purchase made on www.samsung.ca from today until December 24.* Visitors to Samsung Experience Stores in the Greater Toronto Area can also make donations at the point-of-sale during the campaign period.

Today, a giant 20-foot replica of Ryan Reynolds’ festive holiday sweater has been lit up in LED lights at the front of SickKids Hospital in downtown Toronto to help bring the holiday spirit to patients, their families and the public.
