31 Observations from Samsung at IFA 2014… that aren’t a mobile device
From Galaxy Edge to Gear VR, numbers of mobile devices are on display at the the Samsung booth. However, that is only a small part of it. To give you a broader perspective, we at Samsung Tomorrow walked around the booth and made some observations to tell what is happening at the Samsung booth. Here are some observations.

* Origin of the Curve, a digital art installation by Miguel Chevalier will be the first thing you see when you enter Samsung Booth.
* 4 kinds of world’s first technologies that are on display at the TV section: 8K 98″ TV, Bendable 105″ UHD TV, UHD OLED, 105″ Curved UHD TV
* The main theme of the TV section is ‘The Power of the Curve‘ and the power is felt.
* Samsung Smart TV supports UHD Streaming!
* Gaming got easier with the Smart TV.
* Samsung has more audio products than you think including M3, the newest Wireless Audio Multiroom.
* Curved Soundbar is world’s first TV Matching curved Soundbar and it looks nice with the Curved UHD TV.
* The color of UHD 4K Monitor is too real to the point that is unreal.
* Samsung’s printing solutions surprised the world with the world’s first printer powered by Android, which is also multi-function printers (MFP).
* Mobile/Cloud printing is the Key emphasis for printing solutions section at IFA 2014.
* Samsung is pushing B2B in 6 areas: Retail, Hospitality, Finance, Healthcare, Logistics, Transportation, and Education.
* Samsung is also showcasing WLAN solutions.
* Main theme of the B2B section is ‘Bring Life to Business
* Video walls which consists of LFDs are really large and eye catching.
* Galaxy Tab 4 Active is a mobile device specifically designed for B2B purposes (made an exception, because it is displayed in the B2B section) and it really looks ruggedized.
* Multi-Screen game section built a dance stage for the ‘Just Dance’ game, and people are really just dancing.
* Apps/services such as Papergarden, Kick and Galaxy gifts got its own section.
* S console is awesome and Kids love it. OK, adults love it too.
* 850 series 3D V-Nand, the world’s first 3d v-NAND SSD is on display
* Portable SSD T1 is also being showcased.
* Eco-Zone is showing Samsung’s makes high efficient products to reduce CO2 emissions.
* It is also showing its effort on environment protection and resource recycling through the use of eco-friendly and recycled materials.
* VR9000 has 60 times more powerful suction than the conventional robot vacuums. And its suction is demonstrated with Ping-Pong balls inside a pipe.
* Motion Sync Upright vacuum is fully detachable and features swivel brush, reversed cambered wheels, and big and hollow wheels.
* WW9000 does not look like a conventional washing machine, in a good way. It features auto optimal wash, auto dispense and full touch screen and CrystalBlue door, which opens wider and unload easier.
* Digital inverter technology is much more important than people think: it is used in refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner and more.
* CENTER stage was not on center stage, but it was center of attention.
* Chef Collection refrigerator keeps its ultimate freshness in 3 ways: advance triple cooling system, smart organization and mega capacity.
* People seem to enjoy the food cooked from the Chef Collection oven, which features HotBLAST technology and dual cook that is precise yet flexible. There were total of 2 stages dedicated to just ‘cooking’.
* Chef Collection dishwasher features Waterwall technology and it has its own dedicated stage that shoots out water.
* Smart Home has its own booth inside and middle of the Samsung booth. It consists of 2 stories and the first floor is consists of living room, office space and a regular room. It is basically a house.
