A Butler Like Never Before

Our video begins with a scene straight from a huge mansion; A butler adjusting his bow tie, ready to start another day of service.

He begins this Monday as he does every Monday, with a smile.

His boss pages through the TV listings, and the diligent butler offers a thoughtful list of recommendations, carefully handwritten to match his master’s taste.

Something is different on this particular Monday, though. Did his boss just check the schedule on his Samsung Smart TV?

Confused and disappointed, the butler quietly excuses himself.

Tuesday has the butler rolling in a rack of DVDs, hands full of recommendations for his boss. Surely he’ll find something to his liking. And he does!  In fact, using the Samsung Smart TV, he already has!

Again, the butler quietly leaves the room, giving a quick glance over his shoulder.

Try as he might, the Smart TV keeps winning.

Wednesday comes, and the butler waits eagerly for his boss to join him in a game of tennis. Let’s see the Smart TV do that!

Growing impatient, the butler pops his head in to see…the Smart TV has beaten him again. His boss is exercising with the TV!

And not just that, he’s surfing through his apps to find the best exercise options and finding friends to join him.

The butler, with his usual quiet dignity, kicks his bag and storms away.  Is he being replaced?

Thursday sees the handsome young boss preparing for a photo shoot.

The butler has years of practice with this, and knows just how to operate the camera. He carefully sets up the shoot, selects just the right angle…

But what’s this?  The pictures have already been taken with a smartphone, and they’re viewing them on the Smart TV? How is this possible?

The images are so clear, and they’ve already selected their favorite!

Forlorn, the butler gathers his equipment and slouches away.

Alone in his room that night, the butler recalls happy memories with the boss and thinks about the times they spent together, the butler as his trusted servant.
