The efforts for ‘simplification’ continue down to the stand as well. To be in line with its white-toned minimal concept, the stand of ATIV One 7 consists of a curved line with no angular parts. In fact, when it comes to the all-in-one PC, stand design is the core of the overall concept. In addition to its technical function of holding up the monitor, the stand is also used for hiding the cables and enhancing the usability by properly adjusting the monitor’s height and angle.

One that is not afraid to show its behind

ATIV One 7 is so great to look at from both the front and the back that it doesn’t have to be placed against a wall – it would make just as impressive of a statement on a desk in the middle of an open home or work office. That’s because ATIV One 7 is carefully designed, not only on its front side but also on its back.

The whole back is white flat surface, which creates a broad and spacious feeling. To make the back look as clean as possible, designers at Samsung communicated with many departments and reduced the fan vents and arranged them in a row, parallel to the USB ports. Moreover, the designers reduced the number of certification stickers on the PC to a minimum in order for customers to have a clean and elegant impression.

One is a concept of ‘One‘

The fact that it has a stylish back can be shown to people, since it’s often used in a store or showroom to deal with customers as many all-in-one PCs are. Likewise, out of consideration for the main usage of all-in-one PC, the key design of the ATIV One 7 was to be harmonious even with the environment.

Recently, Samsung’s All-in-one PC department has been integrated into IT & Mobile division, and ATIV One 7 is the first all-in-one PC developed belonging to the mobile division. Thus, unlike other existing all-in-one PCs (which were designed with emphasis on each model), the ATIV One 7 contains features that are found in other mobile devices.

For example, the metal deco frame was inherited from the Galaxy S series, and applied to the display and stand. Also, the ATIV One 7’s minimalism concept was one of the ways to make the ATIV One 7 seem slim and light just like mobile devices.
