Do you feel sleepy when you wake up in the morning? OK, we all do. But is it because you pulled an all-nighter just to see your favorite European Football Club in action? However, no matter how tired you might be, you feel glorious because you showed your love and loyalty for your club. Does this sound familiar? If you are, you are going to love this. The Blues are coming! Yes, Chelsea FC is coming to Asia!

Chelsea FC’s Asia Tour 2013 begins in Thailand on July 17. Sport, entertainment and technology, you name it, Samsung Electronics is celebrating Chelsea FC’s Asia Tour 2013 with a series of experiential events.

Tour kicks off as Chelsea FC plays a friendly match against a Singha All-Star XI at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on the 17th of this month. Then they are off to Kuala Lumpur to face a Malaysia XI on July 21 and finally to Jakarta on July 25 to play against an Indonesia XI.

Samsung has been sponsoring Chelsea FC since 2005 and knows that Southeast Asia’s love for the Blues is as high as it is in England. Samsung has created a number of initiatives to bring Chelsea FC closer to their fans across the region.

From July 13, experiential zones filled with TVs, cameras and sound equipment will be open at select shopping malls in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Visitors can play football, dancing and racing games with their friends on 3D displays. The football game features exclusive recorded footage of Chelsea stars Juan Mata and Victor Moses who will interact with the player by passing them the ball. Once the game is over, more stars including Fernando Torres, Oscar dos Santos and Petr Cech will appear on the screens to have their pictures taken with the fans.

Samsung recently created a real life giant pinball game where Chelsea FC’s stars used their skills to hit targets and rack-up huge high scores (See the video below). Samsung has brought this life-size pinball table to the malls so fans can have a go at emulating their idols and show off their footballing prowess.

Chelsea FC’s coaches will also attend youth football camps around Southeast Asia to pass on their expertise to the next generation of budding footballers. During the Malaysian leg of the tour, 1,000 children from orphanages around the country have been invited to see the team in action to give them a fantastic day out and inspire them to dream big.

At the stadiums Samsung has also created zones where the latest technology will be available for fans to experience. To give fans even more of a reason to celebrate, anyone who purchases a Smart TV at any point during this tour will be given audio-visual products completely free of charge.
