As part of marketing efforts for the GALAXY Tab 10.1 in Korea, we carried out a total of 6 experiments regarding what consumers wanted to know about the GALAXY Tab 10.1. The following are the third and fourth experiements.

Tab! Real Experiments #003 – Battery

We’ve heard that since the Galaxy tab 10.1 was released a lot of  people have been  wondering how reliable it really is.. We listened to what one couple had to say regarding the battery life and Digital Media Broadcasting(DMB) capabilities of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 while on holiday in Jungdongjin.(For those of you that don’t know, Jungdongjin is on the east coast of Korea, and is often featured as a “romantic spot” on Korean TV shows).

The worst part of going on vacation is waiting. If only there was some way to make time pass quickly! With the Galaxy Tab 10.1, you’ll be at your destination before you know it. Instead of looking out the window, our couple was able to research the best restaurants in Jungdongjin. Sure, you can sleep on the bus, but wouldn’t you rather be playing games? As you can see, the couple was definitely satisfied with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 during their trip on the entire trip.

Tab! Real Experiments #004 – DMB

Digital Media Broadcasting(DMB) is a free-of-charge digital broadcasting service in Korea. It allows multimedia be sent to mobile devices, like the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and provides exceptionally clear viewing quality, making it easy to keep up with your favorite things – like baseball! Baseball is a popular sport in Korea, and it’s no surprise that many people would like to keep up with all the action on a Galaxy Tab. With the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it’s easy to see every play and feel the excitement, and there’s no need to wait in line for tickets!

Those who tried the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to at the baseball game said that the wide screen made it easy to look up missed plays while watching the current game. There was no need to miss any of the current action! Also, they were able to capture the pitcher’s every detailed movement, which was difficult to do from their seats.  In addition, some people mentioned that they liked being able to check out news from other baseball fields, and buy cheap baseball tickets online, while watching the game. Who wouldn’t love that?
So, with its light weight, 10.1 inch wide screen, and DMB functionality, the Galaxy Tab is the perfect companion for a ball game.
