As part of the company’s mission to innovate in order to help create a better world for all, Samsung Electronics builds sustainability into every aspect of its products, devices and solutions.

Samsung’s SmartThings Energy service comes with a range of intelligent features and activations that help users practice everyday sustainability through the monitoring and reduction of their smart home’s energy usage.

However, Samsung is aiming to take the SmartThings Energy offering to the next level by having it be at the core of the Net Zero Home, wherein all a household’s energy consumption is managed with energy generated within the home itself. In order to further this mission, Samsung is working with Siemens on their Smart City housing project in Sterling Ranch, Colorado, U.S.A. to help realize the sustainable housing community using the connectivity of the SmartThings platform.

From at-home energy production and storage to real-time monitoring and AI-powered energy management, the Smart City Project featuring the SmartThings Energy service is set to allow its users to live more eco-conscious lives. Take a look at the infographic below to learn more.
