Meet the fabulous design covers of GALAXY S III’s at VFNO
Vogue’s global fashion festival, VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHT OUT (VFNO) was a spectacular success this year! Major Italian cities hosted amazing special events, with crowds drawn to Milan (Sep 6th), Rome (Sep 13th) and Florence (Sep 18th) to see the latest and the hottest items.
Samsung was proud to be chosen as the main sponsor of this much-anticipated event, and celebrated the common themes between Samsung and VFNO: passion for design and creativity, sharing of ideas, and celebration of youth, style, and sociability.
With this in mind, let’s take a look at what Samsung had in store for VFNO.
Italian Fashion Legends design GALAXYS III’s cover
The heart of Samsung’s project at VFNO was the custom-designed covers for the new GALAXYS III, featuring some big-name designs by Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, and Pirelli. In addition to these household names, Samsung also provided an opportunity for talented young designers to showcase their creative vision. Leitmotiv, Shourouk, and Stella Jean, winners of Vogue’s Best Talented Designer contest were the lucky winners, and the project was a big success. Well-established fashion stores, such as 10 Corso Como, dedicated special corners to these limited-edition covers, and even requested personalized covers as well.
To showcase these unique covers as well as give customers the chance to learn about the latest products, Samsung installed special displays in each brand’s flagship store. GALAXYS III, GALAXY Tab 2 and Notebook Series 9 provided info and photos about the new collection and customers had the chance to go online to learn more. The installations were a great chance for customers to get better acquainted with Samsung’s range of products in a chic and trendy environment.
Taking Samsung to the Streets
Along with our installations in some very classy establishments, Samsung dominated VFNO with a fun and informative guerilla marketing campaign. Taking to the streets at VFNO events, Samsung had the chance to showcase some of our latest products up close, letting the audience ask real questions and give valuable feedback.
It was hard not to notice Samsung at VFNO, with installations, street marketing, and some strategically placed products in some of the most unique boutiques in Italy. Guaranteed to turn heads, the product placement aimed to catch the eyes of VIPs such as Carla Sozzani as well as customers of such high-end shops.
VFNO 2012 was a fabulous event, but all good things must come to an end. Samsung was delighted to sponsor such a great showcase of high fashion and young talent, and to be able to support creativity with cutting-edge technology. Promoting our values is something that will never go out of style!
