Samsung ranked No. 9 in the Best Global Brands 2012 by Interbrand
The brand value of Samsung recorded the largest growth and highest rank in its history, posting its name in the Top 10 list of Best Global Brands for the first time.
Interbrand, a brand consulting company, announced its 13th annual Best Global Brands report on Oct. 1st, 2012 and Samsung was ranked No. 9 with an estimated brand value of $32.9 billion.
According to this report, Samsung’s brand value has increased by 40 percent from $23.4 billion last year, far exceeding the average increase rate of the Top 100 Global Brands (10 percent) and even the industry average of 16 percent.
