Kuala Lumpur, 27 July 2017 – Televisions today have transformed into works of art. As consumers focus more on design aesthetics, the entertainment staple has turned into a stylish overhaul to fit seamlessly into any lifestyle and routines. With an effort to make your television customisable to your space, Samsung Malaysia Electronic is proud to unveil The Frame in Malaysia.

This new lifestyle TV beautifies any living space, and is designed to live in harmony with the homeowner’s interior décor. Pushing the boundaries of traditional TV, The Frame provides homeowners more than just a screen to enjoy their favourite entertainment programme; it is also a statement piece likening the home to an upscale art gallery.

“At Samsung, we believe that design starts with people – who they are, what they love and how they live. Within the home, technology is very personal and we wanted to make sure we gave users a product that is customisable to their lives. To showcase the integration of art, design and technology, we are pleased to collaborate with interior design firms such as Nu Infinity, Santa Fe Interior Architecture and Suface R to demonstrate how seamless and effortlessly The Frame fits into any décor – be it modern contemporary, industrial or minimalist,” said Jimmy Tan, Head of Consumer Electronics, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

The Frame’s line-up includes 55-inch and 65-inch models. Instead of fading to black like a conventional TV, The Frame display transforms into bespoke work of arts when powered off. Through its Art Mode feature, The Frame can display 100 exclusive works of art by 37 renowned designers or precious family photos, all of which can easily be controlled via smartphone application. This easily adds a personal and emotional touch to homeowner’s living space.

The Frame display is equipped with a brightness sensor, which allows customisable displayed contents on-screen to adjust to the natural levels of light that are in the room, giving it the appearance of a picture frame on the wall. To ensure that The Frame enhances the ambiance and décor of any living space, it consists of customisable frame options including Walnut, Beige wood and White, providing users with the flexibility to match their TV to their interior.

Finally the set-up process is also simpler than ever, only requiring 15-minutes to mount the TV and allows for easy adjusting once positioned on the wall. The No Gap Wall-mount has a universal mount system built into the back of the TV, which positions it flush against the wall when mounted, allowing it to look like a real picture frame. Thanks to its Invisible Connection, The Frame can be mounted just like a picture frame or painting without messy cables, making it a complete package for any living space.

Samsung’s elegant The Frame will officially make its debut in Malaysia on 15th August 2017 at a recommended retail price of RM14,999 for the 65-inch model and RM9,999 for the 55-inch model.
