Filipinos are not getting enough sleep
According to a sleep tracker survey published by leading Southeast Asia consumer research company Milieu Insight1, Filipinos have the most difficulty sleeping soundly among the countries surveyed, with 56% of respondents reporting to have sleep issues. Filipinos most frequently experience trouble falling asleep (53%), frequent nighttime awakenings (41%), and inconsistent sleep and wake cycles (41%).
Thankfully, Samsung has created cutting-edge technology with Galaxy Watch6 and created a campaign to support those who wish to take care of their overall wellbeing – including being mindful of their sleeping habits.
During the Best Night Ever sleepover event, guests and #TeamGalaxy members learned about the features of the Galaxy Watch6 specially designed to help users achieve healthier sleep. Dr. Aika Buenavista, from KonsultaMD talked about the importance of sleep in achieving holistic health and shared tips on getting better rest.
The event also highlighted other aspects of physical health. Dr. Dex Macalintal, also from KonsultaMD, shared some points in monitoring and maintaining heart health as part of achieving overall wellness. This goes perfectly with the Blood Pressure and ECG measuring function of the Galaxy Watch6 through the Samsung Health Monitor app.
Equally as important as physical health, the Best Night Ever sleepover event also shared insights on mental health with Ms. Lovely Ana Aguas, RPsy., RN., from Mental Health PH talking about how to get in touch with one’s emotions and how it is essential mental health goes hand-in-hand with being physically healthy.
