Samsung continues to expand Galaxy AI as consumers show increasing reliance on mobile AI
As more consumers turn to AI for everyday tasks, Samsung Galaxy announces a commitment to expand Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices by the end of 2025 at the 2025 Galaxy AI Forum.
Starting with the Galaxy S24 Series and a commitment to democratise Galaxy AI to over 200 million devices in 2024, Samsung Galaxy has defined a new era of mobile AI innovation. Since then, Galaxy AI has only continued to grow — changing what’s possible on smartphones and driving more than 70 percent of Galaxy S25 users to leverage a suite of Samsung and Google AI tools. Among these features, Google Gemini has shown the most growth, with usage tripling on the latest Galaxy S Series.
One year ago, at our first Galaxy AI Forum, we shared more on our cutting-edge vision for the future of mobile AI, grounded in bringing meaningful advancements to users through technology. Today, new data in partnership with Symmetry Research reveals growing AI usage amongst consumers, highlighting an increasing reliance on mobile AI and shifting attitudes toward multimodal, proactive, and personalised AI features[1].
Nearly half of those surveyed (47 percent) now rely heavily on AI daily, saying their everyday routines would be disrupted without capabilities like AI-powered search, personalised notifications, and voice assistance. And 45 percent use voice commands as often as they type to get things done.
At the centre of our innovation is a desire to bring consumers seamless and secure mobile AI experiences that align with their needs. That’s why Samsung Galaxy is committed to expanding Galaxy AI to 400 million devices by the end of this year — democratising the power and possibilities of mobile AI to even more users.
