Samsung Singapore to Host First-Ever Galaxy Walkathon

Samsung Electronics Singapore will be hosting its first Galaxy Walkathon on 13 September 2026 at The Kallang. Registration for the event is now open until 4 September 2026 and participation is open to all at no charge.

The Galaxy Walkathon, powered by Samsung Health, is a community event held in celebration of Singapore’s 61^st birthday and invites Singaporeans to come together and take steps towards healthier living.

Participants will complete a scenic 5 km walking route around The Kallang precinct, equivalent to around 6,100 steps for most individuals. They can also receive an exclusive event t-shirt and other goodies, as well as stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including the latest Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 smartwatches.

The Galaxy Walkathon is held in support of the Singapore Heart Foundation’s (SHF) heart health movement. With this event, Samsung Singapore will make a donation to SHF to fund its programmes and initiatives in promoting heart health in Singapore. Participants can also make a donation to support the Foundation’s efforts. .

The inaugural Galaxy Walkathon hopes to encourage Singaporeans to take a first step to everyday wellness goals, while supporting a worthy cause in raising heart health awareness. Along with our partners, we hope to make 6,100 steps a daily habit for more, while demonstrating how Samsung Health can help individuals have a better grasp of their overall wellbeing,” said Jeffrey Hahn, President, Samsung Electronics Singapore.

The Galaxy Walkathon builds on Samsung’s SG61 wellness efforts, including the ongoing Samsung Health Step Up Challenge: SG61 Edition, which encourages Singaporeans to stay active and adopt healthier habits through everyday movement.
