Closer to the Moment: Samsung Galaxy Helps Capture the Opening Ceremony of Milano Cortina 2026

Inside Italy’s iconic Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium, over 75,000 spectators and 3,500 athletes gathered to inaugurate the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. In a venue so vast and vibrant, the most powerful moments often flash by in an instant. This year, those fleeting seconds were captured and carried far beyond the stadium walls — powered by the lens of Samsung Galaxy devices.

Athletes commemorated these once-in-a-lifetime moments of the Opening Ceremony with their Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition devices. From their first walk-in amid the thunderous roar of the crowd to celebrations with teammates, these special memories from the Parade of Nations were shared from the world’s stage through a closer, more personal view.

As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Samsung also collaborated with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to embed 26 Galaxy S25 Ultra devices across the stadium — from the spectator stands to the very heart of the athlete entrance tunnels — capturing new views alongside conventional broadcast equipment.
