Samsung Announces Launch Of The V&A Collection Available Now On The Frame
London, UK – 21 March 2018 – Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of the new V&A Collection now available on The Samsung Art Store for owners of The Frame to enjoy at home.
Working with the V&A’s extensive archive Samsung has selected over 20 works for The Art Store, spanning centuries and cultures, telling the story of decorative art and design. From classic wallpaper patterns from the celebrated British Arts & Crafts Movement to dramatic Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints, users will be able to enhance their surroundings with a digital display of V&A images that are the perfect mix of art and history.
The Frame is designed specifically to give more purpose and meaning to the TV. Reflecting a new concept and category in television, it beautifully blends into any living space. When on, The Frame delivers a UHD certified picture, a premium consumers have come to expect from Samsung. When off, it transforms into a work of art – offering a new proposition for the wall and for the home.
The Frame is currently available in 43, 55 and 65-inch models, offering consumers more choice and flexibility to customise any living space. Users can sign up to the Art Store either with a monthly subscription of £3.99, or making one-off purchases of £14.99. Samsung’s Art Store is a growing library of more than 300 pieces of established and emerging artists, curated by several international organizations, galleries and museums.
The Frame is available starting at £999.99 (for a limited time) and UK customers can purchase The Frame from Samsung’s online store and selected retailers.
