Building the Kitchen of the Future with The Culinary Institute of America

Samsung and The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), which have long shared a common global commitment to culinary innovation and education, are embarking on a five-year multi-faceted partnership dedicated to engaging and exciting tomorrow’s most talented chefs. The partnership’s pillars include compelling educational programming (including new CIA classes), the creation and sharing of new and highly relevant culinary content, and a major commitment from Samsung to help the CIA create the “Kitchen of the Future” through the renovation of its main stage in Hyde Park, NY. The kitchen will include a full line-up of Samsung home appliance innovations, as well as Samsung TV LCD monitors. The transformation will start this fall and, once completed, will stand as a vibrant new hub of cooking passion and innovation.

Activating at the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE

From having an eye on future culinary talent to celebrating some of today’s hottest chefs, Samsung will have a strong presence at the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE (October 15-18), showcasing its new product innovations and creating culinary experiences for thousands of food lovers and cooking innovators.

The centerpiece of the brand’s festival activation will be the Samsung Lounge, a chic and immersive space located at Pier 92 in which attendees will be able to sit and relax, enjoy prepared snacks and one-on-one chef demos, and learn more about Samsung’s products. Special lounge events on Thursday through Sunday will include Giada De Laurentiis’ Italian Feast presented by Ronzoni sponsored by the New York Post, Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by Rachael Ray, Jets + Chefs: The Ultimate Tailgate hosted by Joe Namath & Mario Batali, and Meatopia presented by Creekstone Farms hosted by Michael Symon.

On Saturday and Sunday, Samsung appliances will be prominently featured at the prestigious Grand Tasting presented by ShopRite featuring Samsung® Culinary Demonstrations presented by MasterCard at Pier 94, where some of the top culinary talent in the world will also conduct tastings and engage with attendees.
