Samsung Introduces Knox Manage Support for Smartwatches, Enhancing Enterprise Security and Manageability

Samsung today announced that its Knox Manage, a cross-platform enterprise mobility management solution, now provides IT administrators with the capability to remotely configure, track and manage wearable devices, such as smartwatches. The solution supports devices with Wear OS 4.0 and higher, including the new Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Knox Manage is a world-leading mobile management platform used to manage over 150 million devices for businesses across the globe. Knox Manage for wearables extends device management to meet the growing demands of the widespread proliferation of wearables within enterprise settings. IT managers can maintain centralized visibility into device configuration and security management of a fleet of Samsung devices within an organization.
Knox Manage allows for standalone management capability through the pair and detach enrollment process and the Knox security platform ensures that data is secure at every layer of the Samsung Galaxy devices. Further streamlining device control, a bulk quantity of wearables can be deployed at once from a singular device.
