[Infographic] Spec Summary: The CHG70 and CHG90 QLED Gaming Monitors
Samsung Electronics’ new CHG70 and CHG90 gaming monitors are the first curved gaming monitors to feature High Dynamic Range (HDR) picture enhancement, quantum dot picture presentation technology and an ultra-fast 1ms response time (MPRT) that together equate to more immersive and efficient gameplay.
Available in 27- and 31.5-inch models, the CHG70 – an evolution of Samsung’s previously-launched CFG70 curved monitor – offers gamers a viewing arena that is brighter, more luminous and clearer (2,560×1,440 WQHD resolution) than that of its predecessor.
The 49-inch CHG90, meanwhile, sets the new visual standard for ultra-wide gaming displays by applying a 32:9 aspect ratio. When paired with the monitor’s 3,840×1,080 double full HD (DFHD) resolution, these features augment game content with deeper blacks, brighter whites and more vivid colors, creating a more realistic feel in various lighting environments.
The monitor’s ultra-wide, 178-degree viewing angle allows for seamless multitasking, ensuring that all featured content is clearly visible. Furthermore, Easy Setting Box software allows users to organize content across the screen according to their preferences.
