Breathe easier thanks to Samsung’s range of airconditioners with Triple Care Filter

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – June 09, 2020 – There is now a heightened focus by millions of people around the world to improve the quality of air they breathe – to combat bacteria and viruses. Therefore this is a time where people are more aware of the need for appliances that offer safer, cleaner and healthier environments. With Samsung airconditioners you can maintain the desired temperature, keeping you comfortable while a specialised filter keeps the air in your home clean and hygienic. This Tri-Care filter is made up of three layers that reduce harmful particles to help maintain healthy indoor air quality and has been certified to reduce bacteria and viruses that get caught inside of it*. Each layer of the filter captures large dust particles, fibers and even animal hairs, and also includes a Zeolite Coating that reduces viruses, bacteria and allergens.

The Samsung airconditioner range also comes with Easy Filter Plus, which keeps your airconditioner working efficiently with less effort. The Easy Filter Plus is located outside so it can easily be taken out and cleaned. It’s dense mesh keeps the heat exchanger clean to maintain it’s performance and use less energy.

“The way we view the world around us and our health has changed dramatically. Many of us consider air quality in ways we never did before. Samsung airconditioners offer effortless and effective care through innovation such as the Tri-Care filter. It’s a shining example of technology that makes life better for all”, said Rob Larkan, Head of Digital Air Solutions at Samsung South Africa.

* The Triple-Care system was tested on Samsung AR9500T. The antiviral air filter (Tri-Care Filter) can remove up to 99.9% of the viruses based on Intertek Test. Data has been measured under specific testing conditions and may vary depending on environmental factors and individual use.
