Meet the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

Samsung’s next generation of smartphone is here and it’s reimagining the way people communicate, share and experience the world. Today’s smartphones are for more than just communicating, so the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ feature Samsung’s most advanced camera and sound system yet.

AUDIO BRILLIANCE Stereo speakers tuned by AKG offer clear sound that is 1.4 times more powerful than previous Galaxy phones, while Dolby Atmos surrounds you with three dimensional sound, putting you at the centre of  a theatre-like experience.

DUAL APERTURE LENS How often do you find yourself trying to take a sneaky #gymselfie, but the light in the gym is just too bright or not bright enough? With the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, bad lighting is no longer a problem because they automatically adapt to various lighting conditions – just like the human eye – so you can always take clear photographs, whether it’s light, dark, day or night. When it’s dark, the lens opens to F1.5 mode so that it can find light, when there isn’t very much of it, to deliver vibrant photos even late into the night. This means your camera (and your workout) no longer has a curfew. In daylight, the lens adjusts to F2.4 mode to make sure that your photographs come out sharp.

AR EMOJI Create an augmented reality version of yourself simply by taking a selfie. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ let you create your own emoji that looks, sounds and acts just like you, from your hair to your clothes, by using a data-based machine learning algorithm, which maps out more than 100 facial features to create a 3D model that reflects and imitates expressions for true personalisation. You can then share your reallife feelings as emoji stickers and videos via WhatsApp, SMS and all other chat apps. Time  to show off  the real you.
