In the lead-up to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco for the Galaxy S series, this latest award builds on a strong history of recognition for providing unmatched customer satisfaction for Samsung’s extensive range of smartphones. An award-winning brand, Samsung recently won Canstar’s 2025 Innovation Excellence Award for its glare-free TV technology, and had previously scooped up back-to-back Canstar Most Satisfied Customers Awards for Smartphones in 2024 and 2023.

The 2026 award followed a nationwide survey of more than 1,100 Australians, which asked consumers who had purchased a brand new smartphone in the last two years to rate their satisfaction in key categories including durability, design, camera quality, battery and charging performance, user friendliness, value for money and overall satisfaction.

Canstar Blue, Australia’s most trusted consumer comparison website, surveyed Australians who had purchased a tablet over the last two years[i]. Those surveyed were asked to rate their experience with their devices based on overall satisfaction, as well as value for money, user friendliness, battery & charging performance, design, durability and performance.

Samsung received more five-star ratings than any other brand in the market with top marks in five categories, including overall satisfaction. High scores in user friendliness, battery performance, durability, and value for money all contributed to customers giving Samsung’s tablets the highest rating for overall satisfaction.

Samsung Australia has today received two Canstar Blue Innovation Excellence Awards, achieving the five-star accolades in the “Smart Devices” and “Home Entertainment” appliance categories for its Galaxy Z Flip4 smart phone and 2023 Television line-up respectively. In 2023, Samsung was the only brand to receive multiple Canstar Blue Innovation Excellence Awards in the appliance category.

In taking out top honours, Canstar Blue judges deemed Samsung’s 2023 Television line-up and the Galaxy Z Flip4 smart phone as ‘game-changing breakthroughs’ in their sectors. As Australia’s most trusted consumer comparison site, Canstar Blue polled over 1,300 Australians who had purchased a smartphone in the last two years to rate the products on overall satisfaction, including user friendliness, design, durability, value for money, camera quality, and battery and charging performance.

Demonstrative of its categorical leadership, the survey revealed Samsung as the only smartphone brand to take home a five-star customer rating in all seven categories, with participants attesting to the stylish functionality and reliability of the devices in a bid to determine overall satisfaction.

Samsung has been announced as a joint winner of Canstar Blue’s 2021 Customer Satisfaction Award for televisions.

Canstar Blue asked over 1,200 consumers who purchased a television in the last two years to rate them on overall satisfaction, as well as picture quality, value for money, sound quality, ease of use, design and smart compatibility.

Samsung was awarded a five-star rating for four out of seven consumer rating metrics including overall satisfaction, picture quality, design/appearance, and smart compatibility, along with a four-star rating for value for money, sound quality, and ease of use.
