10 Year Warranty For SAMSUNG’s Digital Inverter Compressor And Motor

BANGKOK, Thailand – March 18, 2012 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, is providing a 10 year warranty on its Digital Inverter Compressor in Frost Free refrigerators and Digital Inverter Motors in Front Load washing machines, a first time initiative for Samsung that will further strengthen consumer confidence in the brand.

The 10 year warranty endorses Samsung’s commitment to superior product quality and underscores Samsung’s dedication to develop advanced technologies that bring enhanced product reliability, durability, and enhanced energy efficiency to its intuitive home appliances.

The Digital Inverter Compressor in Samsung’s Frost Free refrigerators enhances efficient cooling performance as well as increases energy savings and optimal freshness; while controlling the noise level to reduce perceptible noise. The Digital Inverter Motor in Samsung’s Front Load washing machines reduces noise and the loss of energy, due to non-usage of a brush which leads to no friction, providing higher efficiency with enhanced durability and powerful performance.

Samsung Front Load Fully Automatic washing machine with Digital Inverter Motor was launched early this year, in capacities ranging from 5.5Kg to 9Kg. The new washing machine range is priced from Rs 27,000 onwards. The Digital Inverter Compressor and Digital Inverter Motor are warranted for a period of ten years from the date of purchase against defective materials and workmanship. This warranty only applies to components of the compressor and motor and excludes any labour costs if a claim is submitted within the time of warranty.

The Digital Inverter Compressor is being introduced in select Frost free refrigerator models having capacities ranging from 255L to 487L in the Indian market this month. Prices start from Rs 24,300 onwards
