Think about this for a moment –

You are young, passionate, driven, and can imagine and understand the need for change. But due to the lack of funds, you can’t transform your idea into a prototype. Well, isn’t it disappointing?

Solve For Tomorrow program has turned down this disappointment. Samsung has enabled an equal opportunity by allocating a funding of INR 1 Crore – to be utilized by young-spirited participants and turn ideas into real-world entities. The initiative is an educational front runner for participants aged 16-22, asking them to undertake innovation in one of four thematic areas – agriculture, healthcare, environment and education.

 Step-by-Step Approach

To support step-by-step development, Samsung India will provide educational course vouchers and train the to 50 teams on Design Thinking at IIT-Delhi. As the competition catches pace and the top 10 are shortlisted, the teams would pay a visit to the Samsung sites, get program merchandize and work on soft skills development. The final phase would see the top 3 teams announced as national winners, who would then develop a prototype for consumer validation. The teams would be allocated money from the pool, while their institutes would get Flip 85”- a Samsung TV optimized to meet the digital demands of modern education.

For a sustainable future

The chance to win the grant begins with a simple registration process, which must be made before July 31. Thus far, Samsung India has received an overwhelming 10,000 plus applications.
