Samsung Electronics today launched Newsroom India, a one-stop destination for news and digital content from Samsung. The website can be found at news.samsung.com/in.

 

In India, Samsung is the market leader in smart phones and various consumer electronics categories that includes televisions, refrigerators, microwaves and air-conditioners. Samsung is also India’s Most Trusted Brand, according to Brand Trust Report 2016.

 

Samsung India Newsroom, another ‘Make for India’ initiative, will now be the primary online source for official information about Samsung India . The brand new resource will be a window to showcase not only the company’s innovative products and technologies, but one that also provides a glimpse of its people and culture to the world.

The goal of Samsung India Newsroom is not just to keep consumers and media informed, but also to help people better understand Samsung. The new website will offer insights and inspirational stories from Samsung’s innovative work and diverse global community.

Not only will the Samsung India Newsroom provide genuine insight into the company’s culture and work, it will also be a place to find inspirational stories about the challenges, hopes and dreams of the people that make Samsung what it is today.

 

Additional sections include issues and facts and FAQ, which will enable Samsung India to provide the latest and most accurate information about key topics and business stories.

 

The site will also feature a more diverse range of content, including infographics, feature articles, bylines, product design stories, photos, and videos. Samsung’s biggest events and major product launches will also be broadcast live on Samsung India Newsroom.

 

The India Newsroom is part of Samsung Newsroom’s global initiative to connect with media and customers. India is the fifth country to get its dedicated Newsroom, following Brazil, Korea, the U.S. and Vietnam.
