Nanum Graduation Ceremony: Celebrating Happiness, Gratitude and New Beginnings

Bright smiles, colourful drawings and an atmosphere filled with excitement marked a truly heartwarming day as over 80 children from the Nanum Community Learning Centre (CLC) visited the Samsung Head Office for their Graduation Ceremony. Celebrating the spirit of the International Day of Happiness, the event reflected the joy of learning and the promise of brighter futures with children from underserved communities, who are attending school for the very first time.

The day was filled with curiosity, laughter and a sense of pride as the young graduates stepped into a new phase of their educational journey.

To celebrate the theme of happiness, the children prepared beautiful drawings capturing what brings them joy — family, school, friends, nature and dreams for the future. Each drawing was a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the support they have received.

“I am very happy to meet all of you. You all must study well, but also dream big. We are here to support you,” said President & CEO, JB Park while speaking to students in Hindi.

His message encouraged the children to pursue education while continuing to dream big, reassuring them that they are supported at every step.

Jeehyun Yoon, Head of Part, Global CSR, who travelled from Korea to be part of the celebration, shared her appreciation for the effort and creativity reflected in the children’s drawings. She thanked the children for being part of the Nanum initiative and expressed how proud Samsung is of their creativity.
