[Pickle Mania] Easy Way to Prepare Cauliflower Pickle in Minutes on Samsung Masala & Sun-Dry™ Microwave
Cauliflower is a common vegetable that can be found in every Indian kitchen across cultures and regions. With the pickle mode in Samsung’s unique Masala & Sun-Dry™ Microwave, the vegetable can easily be made into a lip-smacking pickle that taste just like the traditional and homemade ones prepared by your mother and grandmother.
The microwave omits the need to sun dry the cauliflower and other items and offers a hygienic and less time-consuming method to make your favourite pickle. All you require is to follow a few simple steps.
Here are the ingredients needed:
- 700 gms of Cauliflower
- 100 gms of Garlic
- 2 Tsp of Salt
- 1 Tsp of Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tsp of Red Chili Powder
- 1 Tbs of Fenugreek
- 1 Tsp of Fennel Seeds
- 2 Tsp of Mustard Powder
- 2 Tbs of Mustard Oil
- 2 Pinches of Asafoetida
- 2 Tbs of White Vinegar
Before starting to make the pickle, soak the cauliflower in water mixed with salt for about 5 minutes.
Now, let’s learn how to make delicious cauliflower pickle:
- Once the cauliflower is soaked, make sure to dry them completely
- Cut the florets about the size of your thumb and put them in a glass bowl
- Add all the ingredients and mix well so that the florets get nicely coated with all the spices
- Put the bowl inside the microwave and select Masala and SunDry™ auto cook button
- Now, turn the multi-functional button dial button to number 4 and press ‘Enter’
- Turn the dial button to select 4-4 and press ‘Start’
- After 2 minutes, take the bowl out from the microwave and give all the ingredients a good stir
- Put the bowl inside again and you’ll see the timer automatically set to 2 minutes
- Now, press ‘Start’ and after 2 minutes, get ready to dig in
