Pushkar’s Majestic Camels Through the Eyes of Young DU Students

The desert town of Pushkar in Rajasthan, India comes alive each year around the full moon night of Kartik Purnima to celebrate its annual Pushkar Camel Fair.

 

The expanses of sepia sand are dotted with vibrant colours of camels dressed to the occasion to impress the 400,000 visitors who gather in this small town to witness the grandeur of this traditional camel festival.

 

As part of our #IndiaOnGalaxy series, which is shot on Samsung Galaxy phones, young students representing the Delhi University Photography Club (DUPC), travelled to Pushkar to capture the colours on India’s most popular flagship phone, #Galaxy S10Plus.
