Samsung India organized a Dandiya event to celebrate the colours of Navratri

 

It’s that time of the year, when festivity is in the air. India is celebrating Dussehra, which marks the victory of good over evil. Diwali, the festival of lights, is around the corner.

 

Samsung India, the country’s leader in consumer electronics and India’s most trusted brand, extends warm wishes to millions of its customers on the pious occasion.

 

To mark the festivity among employees, Samsung India organized a Dandiya event to celebrate the colours of Navratri or nine–nights. Dandiya is a traditional folk dance which is performed during Navratri. It is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat.

 

The event saw the participation of over 150 Samsung India employees from the North region and Gurgaon office. A small team worked hard behind the scenes to make the event a success.

The dance floor was decorated with scintillating lights and colorful flowers, while the participants had dressed up in traditional and colorful attire.

 

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps. Professional dancers led the way with an outstanding performance of Dandiya, paving the way for hundreds of Samsung India employees to exhibit their talents.

 

The energy that flowed during this event was mesmerizing.

 

Internal judges selected the best performers, which increased the intensity of Dandiya by several notches. As employees danced together, there was a sense of collective joy.
