The latest additions to the Galaxy A series smartphone family feature new signature designs and features for enhanced and more secure user experiences

Samsung Electronics announced the release of the latest additions to the Samsung Galaxy A family of smartphones in Singapore – the new Galaxy A15 available in LTE and 5G variants, as well as the new Galaxy A25 5G.

These new smartphones are the first of the new 2024 A-series smartphones that take on the Galaxy design identity, with signature design elements such as rounded and refined corners, and the linear camera lens layout. At the same time, you also have a range of premium colours exclusive to the A-series family, with Blue Black, Yellow, and Blue for the Galaxy A25 5G, while the Galaxy A15 series come in Blue Black, Yellow and Light Blue.

Both the Galaxy A15 series and the Galaxy A25 5G come packed with immersive large-screen experiences, hyper-fast connectivity, high-performance multitasking capabilities as well as new security and privacy features that elevate the everyday user experience, all while available at more accessible price points too.

Reliable performance for everyday work and play 

With upgraded octa-core processors across the board, Samsung packs more power and performance into the new additions to the Galaxy A smartphone family. The Galaxy A25 5G also benefits from significant performance improvements thanks to the 5-nanometer Exynos 1280 chipset, bringing exceptional performance to the table, whether for gaming or videos on-the-go.

Both the Galaxy A15 series and Galaxy A25 5G series offers users with 128GB (and up to 8GB of RAM^[1]), with the option to add on additional storage via expandable microSD cards of up to 1TB capacity^[2].

Coupled with super-fast 25W Fast Charging for quick and easy battery top-ups, users can easily stream their favourite videos and play their favourite mobile games throughout the day with no fuss, thanks to the 5,000mAh^[3] battery on both the Galaxy A15 series and the Galaxy A25 5G.

For the budding photographers and videographers or those who simply want to capture slices of life as they happen, the Galaxy A25 5G’s main 50MP camera comes with enhanced optical image stabilization (OIS) & VDIS (video digital image stabilisation) technology which lets you take stable photos and videos, even in low-light conditions. You also get an 8MP Ultra-Wide camera, 2MP Macro camera, and 13MP Front camera for the best selfies and self-shot TikToks.

The Galaxy A15 series on the other hand, feature a versatile triple lens configuration, with a 50MP main camera for stunning photos in any conditions, while the 5MP Ultra-Wide lens lets you fit more into each shot.

The new Galaxy A series smartphones are the entertainment hubs in your pocket, thanks to the spacious Super AMOLED screens, with Infinity displays sporting minimised bezels so that you can see more, and in true-to-life colours. Featuring Vision Booster^[4] functionality, which increases screen visibility outdoors, even in bright daylight, the screens of these devices are also SGS^[5] eye-care-certified, with significantly reduced blue light.

The Galaxy A25 5G features a screen with 1000-nit brightness, and the hyper-reactive 120Hz display with super smooth scrolling lets you enjoy your favourite mobile games without visual lag. Galaxy A15 series and Galaxy A25 5G will come with the new One UI 6, based on Android 14, which enables a more user-friendly experience, with many elements that have been tweaked to create a more modern look and feel, as well as more options for personalisation, letting users customise the Galaxy experience to suit their habits and preferences.

A key enhancement of One UI 6 is its enhanced security through a feature called Auto Blocker. When enabled, Auto Blocker protects your Galaxy device and data by preventing the installation of applications from unauthorised sources, checking for malware, and blocking malicious activity. In addition, upgraded features like Samsung Wallet enable easy access to essential credit cards, ID, tickets, and boarding passes with a single swipe, while being protected by Samsung Knox.

In line with Samsung’s commitment to ensuring top-notch security for their users, the Samsung Knox Vault feature has been extended to the new Galaxy A Series models, providing strong security level to protect users’ information securely during hardware-related tampering such as disassembly, as well as temperature and voltage attacks. The Samsung Knox Vault applied is also externally certified with highest assurance level of EAL5+.

The Galaxy A15 series and A25 5G will come with up to four generations of OS upgrades, and five year of security updates.
