Samsung Receives More J.D. Power Awards for Home Appliances than Any Other Brand in 2022

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is proud to announce it received more J.D. Power Awards for home appliances than any other brand in 2022, based on the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study.

Consumer satisfaction was measured on a 1000-point scale with appliance categories being evaluated on a five-factor scale: ease of use; features and settings; performance and reliability; price; and styling and appearance.

This year, Samsung received top rankings in the following home appliance segments:

In the Side-by-Side Refrigerators segment, Samsung ranked number one out of five brands for the second consecutive year. Additionally, Samsung was the highest scoring brand in all five factors measured within the index model: ease of use; features and settings; performance and reliability; price; and styling and appearance.

In Top-Mount Freezer Refrigerators, Samsung ranked number one out of five brands in customer satisfaction achieving the highest factor scores in: features and settings, performance and reliability, price, and styling and appearance.

In Freestanding Ranges, Samsung ranked number one out of five brands and performed highest in all five factors: ease of use; features and settings; performance and reliability; price; and styling and appearance.

Within the Wall Ovens segment, Samsung ranked number one for the second year in a row out of five brands and performed highest in ease of use; features and settings; and performance and reliability.

In Top-Load Clothes Washers, Samsung ranked number one out of five brands for the fourth consecutive year.  Scoring highest in all five factors: ease of use; features and settings; performance and reliability; price; and styling and appearance.
