Niquita Bento Shoots Glamour’s Disruptors Issue with the Galaxy S22 Ultra

Niquita Bento, the industry-disrupting international fashion photographer has built a reputation for capturing images that reflect unique perspectives, considered composition and relatable emotion. She was therefore an instant choice to help create Glamour South Africa’s latest Disruptors issue, shot with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Some of the country’s top digital disruptors feature on the cover and in riveting content showcasing the future of digital storytelling, through the use of a pioneering smartphone camera.

Armed with Samsung’s most intelligent camera yet, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Niquita created unmissable and authentic content, with lifestyle content creators and Samsung brand partners, Linda Mtoba, Kay Ngonyama and Nabilah Kariem. You just cannot miss this behind-the-scenes look at the Glamour Magazine Disruptor shoot below.

See Nikita put her wide-ranging skill-set to dynamic use during the shoot, using the incredible array of professional-level camera lenses, Samsung’s biggest pixel sensor yet to break the rules of light, as well as pro-grade editing tools – including access to the editable RAW files professionals use. This put the visionary photographer in full control of every stunning detail.

Niquita expressed her enthusiasm for the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the video. As she says, “When I used the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, what I found most impressive was the fact that I didn’t have to change the lenses like I would with a standard camera, because the phone allowed me to use different focus lenses. One of my favourite features on the phone is definitely the 108 mega pixels, as well as a new feature that Samsung has added, the Detail Enhancer, which pushes the clarity up and makes it look like the perfect glossy picture you want.” Watch Niquita’s reaction to a truly disruptive smartphone camera experience:
