Shot with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, Glamour Magazine’s latest Disruptors issue is a captivating showcase of the future of digital storytelling. Behind the lens, industry disruptor Niquita Bento was armed with a dazzling array of photography tools on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. To create dynamic and authentic content, she chose a bright and bold approach – featuring lifestyle content creators and Samsung brand partners, Kay Ngonyama, Nabilah Kariem and Linda Mtoba.

 

Armed with her knowledge from previously using the innovative technologies introduced in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Niquito explored the ground-breaking new features, including Samsung’s biggest pixel sensor ever. This enabled her to create vivid interpretations of the lighting conditions, capture the intricate details in designer outfits and express each influencer’s uniquely compelling identity. Bento made full use Samsung’s most intelligent camera and editing suite on this must-see Glamour shoot. The famous trio of Linda, Kay and Nabilah were stunningly captured in evocative looks and compelling perspectives, that reflected their personalities. In focus and on-trend, the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G helped curate a memorable Glamour cover and behind-the-scenes story. This novel approach to fashion photography is a captivating demonstration of how smartphone cameras are now increasing in popularity with professionals and passionate amateurs alike. Young and influential content creators are being empowered with cutting-edge technology, such as adaptive lenses, scene-enhancing A.I features and batteries that can last up to two days1. Additionally, with Galaxy Note’s fan-favourite S Pen now integrated into the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Glamour team were able to take notes, mark down their ideas, and sketch out possible improvements to the overall vision for the shoot.

When only one person is in view, the camera remains focused on them and tracks their movement to keep the shot centred, and if another person enters the frame, the camera widens its view to include the second person as well.
