Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced the local availability of its most impressive and extensive range of soundbars, featuring an extended Dolby Atmos line-up and new innovations that will create true cinematic surround sound experiences at home.

The introduction of True Dolby Atmos & DTS:X with 11.1.4ch surround sound to the flagship Q-Series Soundbars is a first of its kind and fills your room with cinematic sound by incorporating 11 channels, one subwoofer channel and four up-firing channels.

“Australians appreciate high quality audio as part of their visual experience and the 2021 line-up showcases Samsung’s commitment to innovation with new audio advancements that raise the bar in sound quality,” said Jeremy Senior, Vice President of Consumer Electronics, Samsung Australia.

“Offering the ultimate immersive audio experience at home, the Q950A, engineered by Samsung’s Audio Lab is the perfect match for our new Neo QLED range providing Dolby Atmos Rear Speakers, Spacefit Sound+ and Samsung’s Q-Symphony,” continued Mahdi.

Following the 2020 introduction of the revolutionary Q-Symphony feature, in 2021 Samsung will redefine the sound experience by surrounding you with sound from TV and Soundbar orchestrated in harmony. Q-Symphony uniquely allows TV and Soundbar speakers to operate simultaneously for better surround effect without muting TV speakers.”

For a more customised sound experience, SpaceFit Sound+ tailors your TV and compatible soundbar settings by constantly testing reverberations, ensuring the sound is always optimised for the room. Working together, Q-Symphony and SpaceFit Sound+ offers users a total sound collaboration delivering a synchronised sound experience.

“Samsung understands that sound integration and synergy between TVs and soundbars is a key factor sought after by Australians. Through the innovative Q-Symphony and SpaceFit Sound+, the new soundbar range takes immersive audio experiences to the next level through total sound collaboration,” said Jeremy Senior.

Samsung soundbars (Q700 and above) will also support third-party connectivity features including AirPlay 2 and built-in Chromecast ability, offering upgraded usability with casting. This is a first for Samsung soundbars and will further allow users to seamlessly cast their music to their Samsung soundbar without turning on their TV.

The accessible A-Series soundbars offers more powerful enhanced sound with upgraded power output in addition to a new Bass Boost Mode feature, providing users the choice to amplify the level of bass to provide a more immersive sound experience. The upgraded S-Series also features dedicated centre speaker and side-firing Horn Speakers for immersive and wide sound experience for users to enjoy their favourite music and movie content.

Samsung’s 2021 Soundbar range will be available through various retail outlets nationally from Friday 5 March. Samsung Q-Series soundbars come with a 100 Day Money Back Guarantee1
