What role did Samsung R&D Institute India-Bangalore (SRI-B) play in telecom innovation?

SRI-B’s Open Network Innovation Team is spearheading advancements in telecommunications, developing cutting-edge first-ever AI/ML framework for B5G networks. These innovations aim to transform telecom operations globally, particularly in managing B5G networks, by addressing critical challenges like congestion control, dynamic resource optimization, quality of service and experience management, etc..

What is this AI/ML framework, and how does it help telecom networks?

The AI/ML framework is a groundbreaking framework designed to optimize and automate telecom operations. It dynamically manages real-time and non-real time network operations, reducing the need for expensive manual network infrastructure management. This translates to:

Improving Network User Experience: Automates processes like congestion prediction and management, traffic steering, mobility management, QoS/QoE management and the like, thus, improving end-user experience.

Making technology more accessible: Cuts operational costs for telecom operators, making advanced technologies more accessible, dynamic, intelligent and affordable, especially in big markets like India.
