Samsung Digital Signage Enhances the Hockenheimring Racing Circuit

Germany on December 17, 2025

Samsung Electronics has strengthened its partnership with the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg (Hockenheimring) in Germany by equipping one of the world’s most renowned racetracks with the company’s comprehensive digital signage ecosystem. For the past two years, Samsung LCD signage displays have been installed throughout the 97-hectare site — from the Welcome Center and VIP areas to the pit lane and race control. All displays are centrally managed via Samsung’s MagicINFO Cloud digital signage software, enabling flexible, real-time communication tailored to diverse events and audiences.

Since its opening in 1932, the Hockenheimring has been a landmark of international motorsport, hosting historic motorcycle races, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) championship events, the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) and numerous Formula 1 races. Beyond motorsport, the venue now welcomes visitors for concerts, corporate events and track days, drawing up to 700,000 guests each year. Samsung’s display solutions have been integrated to support this broad range of activities while preserving the site’s iconic design.

Inside the Welcome Center’s 360-square-meter space, 18 Samsung LCD signage displays provide dynamic information about events, ticketing and the circuit’s history. Two double-sided 55-inch OMN-D series displays are positioned in shop windows, delivering ultra-bright content to outdoor viewers while maintaining reduced brightness for indoor viewers. Additional large-format 98-inch screens greet guests at the entrance, and Samsung QMC series displays with glare-free UHD panels are embedded throughout the interior, blending seamlessly into the architecture.

Behind the scenes, Samsung MagicINFO Cloud acts as the digital engine powering the system. The software allows staff from different departments to create, schedule and manage content using provided templates. This approach streamlines operations, ensures consistent branding and enables timely updates across all displays without requiring advanced IT expertise.

As the Hockenheimring enters a new phase of modernization, Samsung will continue to provide next-generation screens to expand the racing circuit’s capabilities and elevate the overall experience for motorsports fans and visitors around the world.
