Samsung Electronics recently highlighted the evolution of Galaxy AI in Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO). The coverage includes statistics displayed via infographics, which reveal that Galaxy AI is being used by 77% of Samsung users in the region. Additionally, the top five most-used features, in order, are Circle to Search, Photo Assist, Instant Slow-Mo, Writing Assist and Edit Suggestion. Galaxy AI is also enabling new ways for people to communicate and create, through features like Interpreter, Generative Edit and others. This widespread uptake underscores Samsungs strategic push to realize its AI for All vision and integrate more intuitive, context-aware experiences into everyday mobile interactions.

[Japan] Galaxy Harajuku To Host Pop-up Collaboration With NCT DREAM

Starting September 1, Samsung Electronics Japan will host a pop-up in collaboration with NCT DREAM to celebrate the boy bands fifth album, Go Back To The Future, alongside the recent launch of Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. The pop-up will take place at Galaxy Harajuku in Tokyo, with additional exhibitions at Galaxy Studio Osaka. Visitors can enjoy Galaxy AI-powered experiences such as photo booths, music video screenings, panel displays and interactive message boards. There will also be exclusive perks like original stickers, trading cards and signed autograph boards. The event will run until October 9, offering fans a chance to fully immerse themselves in NCT DREAMs new album through the integration of Samsungs latest Galaxy technology.

[Germany] Eight New Samsung Dryers Achieve Class A Rating for Energy Efficiency

Eight of the newest dryer models launched by Samsung Electronics Germany this year meet the stringent criteria of the highest EU energy efficiency Class A, introduced under the updated EU labelling system that became effective July 1. The change replaces the old “A+++ to D” scale with a clearer “A to G” classification, alongside stricter testing methods and a new noise emissions rating. Models like the Bespoke AI Dryer also achieve the quietest A rating for noise emissions, using heat pump technology and AI Dry+ to save up to 20% in energy and time. Additional models, such as the DV6400D and DV7400D, offer features like QuickDrive, Super Speed cycle and Air Refresh cycle, catering to various price points and lifestyles.

[Germany] Samsung Devices Receive IT Security Label From Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security

The label confirms compliance with key European cybersecurity standards and helps consumers make informed choices, with Samsung being the first manufacturer to receive it for mobile devices and smart TVs.
