If you thought Galaxy Gear Couldn’t Go Bananas…(literally)

B.A.N.A.N.A.S. The band No Doubt is not the only one who can go bananas. Check out the photo below. What do you see? Yes, they are bananas. But more importantly, what is it? It is Galaxy Gear with more than two thousand zircon stones in black and white outlining an illustration. It is Samsung GALAXY Gear by Os Burgueses!

Samsung collaborated with two Portuguese fashion designers (Mia Lourenço and Pedro Eleutério) who go by the name of ‘Os Burgueses’ to create the first accessory for GALAXY Gear.

Os Burgueses is all about having fun (or going bananas). Can you tell?

Susana Gorjão, a Portuguese artist, and Os Burgueses created the new fashion icon, Samsung GALAXY Gear by Os Burgueses. The concept of this fashion icon is actually inspired by Os Burgueses’ Spring-Summer 2014 collection.

Recently, this exclusive edition was launched at the Moda Lisboa-Lisbon Fashion Week. It is said to be displayed later in the Samsung stand at Pátio da Galé, in Terreiro do Paço, one of the main squares in Lisbon. Here are some pictures for you, fashion magazine style!

Galaxy Gear has been featured on many Fashion Week events. It has positioned itself as a true fashion icon that perfectly bridges mobile technology and the world of fashion.

However, don’t let the looks fool you, because it still can be customized with over 70 apps. Yeah, apps on your wrist, get used to it.
