Of course, as the title of the event suggests, this is a great chance to find out how to make the most out of the features of the NX30. The thing is, it is so much more as well. First of all, the people who share some of the photography techniques includes established photographers such as Alex Ortega (Singapore), Partick Low (Malaysia), Davy Linggar (Indonesia), Kristupa Saragih and (Indonesia), and  Richard Hirst (Australia).

Second of all, some of the topics/themes of the session will be about the various interests of aspiring photographers. From capturing daily life of people, bird’s eye scenic shots, and sky scrapers to artistic shots, stylized food host and nightlife, some of the things that photographers are most interested in will be discussed.

So those are some of the things you can experience on the NX Traveller: Australia. But the real question now is how can you participate? It is pretty simple. Photographers were invited to participate through the Smart Photography community page (smartphotography.asia).

The chosen 23 photographers went through an intensive 11 photo assignments and will be uploading all their entries for the best photos. They were encouraged to submit their traveling photos on Facebook, and tag @SmartPhotographyAsia, #NXTravellerAustralia, #TeamSydney OR #TeamMelbourne for a daily challenge.

As you may have noticed, there is a catch. There are two teams: Team Sydney and Team Melbourne. Yes, this is a competition to bring the best out of both cities with the Samsung NX 30. And this is how it works.

1. The stream of photos will be uploaded onto Smart Photography Gallery.

2. Entries are split according to Professional and Enthusiast categories.

3. There will be 1 winner per photography assignment.

4. The team (Melbourne/Sydney) with most wins will be the winning team.

5. Grand prize winner (1x Professional, 1x Enthusiast) will be chosen from the winning team based on who gets the highest number of individual photography assignment wins..

The full gallery of photos taken from the program can be viewed on the https://www.smartphotography.asia/nxtraveller. Currently, there are about 1,000 amazing photos from both teams. Also travel diaries from both teams will be available soon.
