Samsung Brings The Frame to London Secondhand Market for an Art-Filled Surprise
U.K. on November 19, 2025

Samsung Electronics brought a creative twist to one of London’s trendiest weekend markets by showcasing The Frame at the Birchmere Park car boot sale, which is a United Kingdom version of a flea market. The event highlighted the TV’s ability to double as a digital art frame and offer access to an extensive library of iconic artworks. By placing the lifestyle TV among vintage items, Samsung demonstrated how easily premium art experiences that aren’t always accessible to everyone can be brought into everyday homes at an accessible price point.
The appearance aligned with a rising wave of art appreciation across the U.K., particularly among younger audiences. Recent research has shown that 85% of people under 28 considered art one of their major interests, with many now preferring gallery visits over nightlife. Interest extended across all age groups: a majority of adults reported they would rather view art than watch sports, and many said they would choose to visit a gallery over shopping.
The Frame addresses this shift by providing access to more than 4,000 artworks through Samsung Art Store. The platform features pieces from globally renowned museums and artists — including Monet, Van Gogh and Matisse — along with monthly selections of free curated art. Research has also found that more than half of British consumers had a favorite painting, with classics like the “Mona Lisa”, “Sunflowers”, “The Last Supper”, “Starry Night” and “The Scream” topping the list.
Samsung’s lifestyle TVs support a growing preference for displaying art at home, with many consumers wishing they could invest more in décor and personal expression. The Frame and The Frame Pro have made this aspiration more achievable, offering QLED or Neo QLED screens, Pantone Validated colors and glare-free Matte Displays for an authentic viewing experience. The Frame Pro further enhances home aesthetics with a wireless connection option that enables users to position external devices up to 10 meters away, keeping the display area clean.
