Samsung CES 2012 Teaser Stirring Media Buzz
A recently released teaser for Samsung Smart TVs which will be featured at the next International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) this coming January, has gotten the press talking.
The teaser follows the progression of TVs throughout history, giving a panoramic view of the different ways families have interacted with their televisions over time, from the black and white sets of the 1960s to the modern 3D TVs we enjoy today.
It ends on a mysterious note, leaving CNET speculating: “[the teaser] features a family playing with tablets and phones on the couch–suggesting the company will feature extended integration between its TVs and mobile devices, and perhaps even with Apple technology.”
TechCrunch wonders if Samsung has plans to change platforms for the Smart TV. They predict “Samsung could be completely abandoning its current platform for the new kid in town: Google TV and/or Android.”
Digital Trends is thinking bigger – “Will Samsung unveil ‘the next big thing’ in television at CES 2012?”
Wondering what sort or product or features will be unveiled at the CES 2012? Could it be something entirely new? The only way to find out is to “stay tuned.”
But enough talk. Below is the teaser that has everyone buzzing.
