Samsung Electronics Announces Registration Now Open for Second Annual Samsung Developer Conference
2014 theme ‘Connected Living. Connecting Developers’ will offer developers new categories including Wearables, Internet of Things and Health
Samsung Electronics announced its second annual global Samsung Developer Conference is now open for registration. The event, to be held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center West from November 11-13, will draw on developers’ insights and inspiration for the creation of new consumer experiences through Samsung smart devices.
This year’s theme, ‘Connected Living. Connecting Developers,’ will highlight the potential opportunities for integrated contents and services across Samsung devices such as Galaxy Smartphones, Gear, Smart TV and Samsung Home Appliances – expand on securing mobile applications in the enterprise and will also include new areas such as wearables, Internet of Things (IoT) and Health.
“Samsung sees the developers’ role as more critical than ever as connecting multiple personal devices becomes a key for creating a differentiated user experience,” said Won-Pyo Hong, President and Head of Samsung Media Solution Center. “The Samsung Developers Conference 2014 presents a rare opportunity for participants to share their ideas directly with Samsung and enable them to take part in leading the present and future of a Connected Living.”
This year’s 3 day conference will feature nine categories and more than 85 technical and marketing sessions as well as keynotes, hands-on workshops, technology demonstrations and networking opportunities with an international roster of industry experts. New products for developers will be announced including software development kits and tools.
