Samsung’s New Air Conditioner is Triangular… But why?

Summer is here and for some the heat may already be causing sweltering days and sleepless nights. The conventional fan you have at home is cool, but sometimes, you just need something cooler than cool. Samsung has introduced various air conditioners, but the latest one has a unique triangular body design. And this makes it definitely it cooler than just cool. Want to know why?

Before we dig into the geometry of it, we know that when it comes to air conditioners at least two things matter: cool air and air flow. This A/C can cool the air 26% faster than conventional A/Cs, which saves a considerable amount of energy, letting users pay less in electricity costs. This is because it uses Digital Inverter Technology with EER 10.1.instead of non-inverter compressor.

Now, about that triangular design of Samsung New A/C. The triangle shape or triangle technology, allows it to produce a wider, faster and stronger wind.

Its uniquely triangular design allowed the A/C to house a wider inlet (20% ↑), enlarged blade (39% ↑) and a bigger fan (94 radius to 98 radius). In result, it is able to produce cool air faster (26%), farther (14m meters) and wider (2 x wider).

Moreover, the unique design opens the blade up-ward. This facilitates even heat distribution because hot air flows above the cool air. It also helps users to stay cool for longer periods, maintaining a consistent temperature with minimal temperature fluctuation. Thus, thanks to the triangular body, cool air reaches you wherever you are in the room.
